Answer» Solution :If two MAGNETIC FIELD lines will CROSS eachother, then there will be two DIRECTIONS of magnetic field at the point of crossing, which is not POSSIBLE in a magnetic field. The field around a solenoid is like that of a bar magnet. Two factors are: (a) Number of turns in the solenoid. (b) It depends on the magnitude of the current passing through the solenoid. |
