Answer» The peasent movement was led by baba ramchandra_ a sanyasi who had earlier worked in fiji an indentured laboured. The movement was against talukdars and landlords who demand high rents from the peasents. And it demanded reduction of revenues abolition of begar It was started against the oppressive landlords .who charged a high amount of land revenue from peaseants and forced them to do begar and work in the farms of landlord .The peasanta we\'re regularly evicted from the land so that they do not get right over it.so they demanded abolition of begar reduction of revenue and boycott of landlords. |
