Answer» He said this above Statment as the snake was the first to water trough and he was a guest. He had to wait until it goes but due to his social education he foolishly threw a log on him and he regrets for his mistake The poet said the above statement because he was his guest and guest are like god who came to his water trough to drink water&he throw a clumsy log on him .it is a foolish act.
