Why is the lahore session of inc is so significant ? |
| Answer» The Lahore session\xa0was of\xa0great\xa0in the Indian national movement for Independence. It was in this\xa0session\xa0that Purna swaraj was declared\xa0as\xa0India\'s goal. The leaders aimed for nothing but complete independence. This\xa0session\xa0also formed an\xa0important\xa0cause for the civil disobedience movement.\xa0The\xa0Congress session held at Lahore in 1929\xa0was\xa0significant\xa0because it was in this\xa0session\xa0of the Indian\xa0National Congress, the resolution of Poorna Swaraj or complete independence was taken up.\xa0Jawaharlal Nehru became the president of congress at the historic Lahore session 1929. Congress passed the resolution of purna swaraj complete independence\xa0on 31st December the newly adapted tri colour flag was unfurled.\xa026th January 1931 was fixed to be first independence day which was to be celebrated by people. There was an announcement of another major mass movement under Gandhi ji called civil disobedience movement. | |
