Why per capita income only cannot used as to see development of country? |

Answer» Reason r 1- it doesnt show how equitably a vountry\'s income is distributed 2-it doesnt account for improving the quality of environment such as pollution, environmental degradation etc particularly in underdeveloped countries. 3-and per capita income affects material welfare,it is the wealth that determines economic welfare and not cirrent income as such.
