Why was mahatma gandhi launch non cooperation movement?

Answer» Mahatma Gandhi ji thought that the british empire has established in India because of the co-operation of Indians. If Indians would not have co-oprated then the british cannot rule on India.So the non-cooperation movement was started by Gandhiji.He said that not to buy British goods,to oppose the civil rules with non-violence.
MG thought that the British could established their rule only with the co-operation of Indians. It would collapse if Indians refused co-operation and swaraj would come.He proposed that NCM should start in stages–surrendering titles that the govt awarded,bycott of civil services,army, police ,courts ,legislative councils,schools and foreign goods.
