The tiger is said in the poem because he was in the cage but other Tiger where in forest so he was very Tiger was kept in the cage,and he is not able to show his power to the visitor... The tiger was sad because he was caged in the zoo. He wanted to live freely out in his natural habitat and enjoy his freedom to a great extent. He was exasperated, full of rage and feeling helpless as he could not do anything to free himself.
