Why were the raindrops like new coins for Lencho?

Answer» Lencho was waiting for the rain which his crops needed very much. According to Lencho his crops needed a downpour or a shower. The rain which he had been expecting did come. As we read the lesson according to Lencho the big rain drops were ten cent pieces whereas the little ones where fives. He was very happy after seeing the rain in his field. But suddenly the weather changed and big hailstones started to fall along with the rain. He wanted it to go away quickly but that did not happen. The rain which in the starting for him was a path for a better future shattered his dreams and changed the way his field was. All of Lencho\'s crops got ruined. There was not even one leaf left in the trees. The hailstorm had left lencho and his family in need for starvation. Hence, the same rain changed the shape of Lencho\'s field.
In this sentence, Lencho used a metaphor here. Lencho is a "farmer" and he depends on rain for farming. He compares the raindrops with the new coins because the raindrops help him to grow and harvest the crops and it will also help Lencho to get more money which in turn enriches his lifestyle. So in order to get more money he should harvest the crops correctly. This is the reason why Lencho consider the raindrops as the new coins falling down from the sky.
