| Answer» Solution :Since planets are quite near the EARTH in comparison with the stars, they DONOT act as pointsources but behavelike extended SOURCES. Planets may be considered as collection of a large number of point sized sourcesof light. The total NET deviation in amount of light entering our eyes from different pointsources is zero. Therefore there is no net twinkling of planets. | |
