Bring out the irony in thw frog\'s statement \' your song must be your own\' |
|
Answer» There was a great irony in that statement. The irony in the frog\'s statement- \'Your song must be your own\' is that he previously said that she should not boast about her own songs, she needs to learn other things. And later on, he is teaching her that the song she sings must be her own. The irony is that though first in the beginning the frog says that it\'s not a big deal if you are singing your own song but in the end he himself repeats these words and says that while singing it is must that you should sing your own song... |

What was anne sullivans role in helen\'s life |
|
Answer» itna bada?? Miss Sullivan played an angel’s role in Helen’s life. She transformed her dark world into a world full of light. Miss Sullivan was not only a great teacher to Helen, she was a great and very caring human being also. She was asked by Mr. Anagnos of Perkins Institute if she could teach a girl who had visual, hearing, and speaking disabilities. Miss Sullivan readily agreed. Miss Sullivan totally transformed Helen’s life.\xa0In her novel \'The Story of My Life\', Helen Keller pays repeated homage to her great teacher, Miss Sullivan. The world is full of ordinary teachers who just teach shallowly. Miss Sullivan touched the depths of Helen\'s soul and brought light to her darkened world. The day she arrived at Helen\'s house, Helen called that day the most important day of her life. Helen compared the arrival of her teacher to the shining of \'light of love\' in her darkened life. Miss Sullivan took unprecedented pains to teach Helen manual alphabet. Since Helen was suffering from hearing as well as visual disabilities, Miss Sullivan really had to work very hard to teach Helen the alphabet. In the 7 chapter, Helen praises Miss Sullivan in the following words: "Thus I learned from life itself. At the beginning I was only a mass of possibilities. It was my teacher who unfolded and developed them. When she came, everything about me breathed of love and joy and was full of meaning." It was Miss Sullivan\'s genius, her sympathy, her loving tact and expert teaching skills which made the first years of Helen\'s education so beautiful. Miss Sullivan made learning easy and fun-filled for Helen.\xa0Miss Sullivan deserves all the praise she received from Helen. She taught her with immense patience and love. She endured her initial stubbornness to her methodology. She devised unique and innovative methods to teach Helen the secrets of language, reading, speaking, imagination, and other mysteries of life. She was always there with her in her ups and downs. Even during the painful incident of Frost King, Miss Sullivan was always with her giving her comfort, solace, and self confidence. Even while travelling to various places such as World Fair, Fern Quarry, etc, Miss Sullivan was always with her. No doubt, Helen considered her teacher as her own inseparable part! She was everything to Helen. |

Justify the title \'two gentleman in verona\' |
| Answer» In the story " Two Gentlemen Of Verona " , the two orphan boys Jacopo and Nicola, work immensely and exhaustively, they shine shoes, sell newspaper and run errands for the sake of the treatment of their sister. They showcase an unusual devotion towards their work and family. They give a commendable example of love , care, emotion and nobility. Cronin show as us that one may polish boots or sell newspaper, but it is the magnanimity of heart and the nobleness of purpose that actually determines whether one is a true " gentleman" . Hence , the title is quite justified.\xa0\xa0 | |

Why was the frog angry .....please tell me the answer |
|
Answer» The frog was angry at the nightingale as her voice was getting sorrowful and morose. Due to this the ticket office was incurring huge losses. The frog sold her songs for silver and ironically asked her to make hrr voice hoarse like him. He exploited her to his own advantage. Birds and beasts were tired of a voice so uninspired. Singing alone gave no joy to herHope this much is helpful and enough Becoz... after doing more and more practice the nightingale had lost her sweet and melodious voice... and this resulted in the less audiences in her show which ultimately make decrease in frog\'s earning ..... that\'s why the frog was angry... Because ticket was dwindling Bcoz everyday after a whole day practice the nightingale had to sing and after many days she get tired and was unable to si g, this led to decrease in money of the frog. Frog was angry bcz nightgales song has impressed everyone and she was gaining popularity...so his joy seems to be bitter |

Give a charectersketch of lavinia |
|
Answer» Ye nii aaega Yeh toh tegerence book ka answer hai. Merko koi aur points chahiye Lavinia, the volatile wife of John Hallock, is a colourful character. She is fun loving and extravagant. John is scared of her fancy shopping. He remembers her craze for taking up new fads. John can’t devote his whole time to writing. He has to work as a book-keeper to earn a living and ‘pay for Lavinia’s fancy’ shopping. One afternoon she buys ‘the loveliest’ and duckliest, darlingest Ouija board at a bargain sale. However, her husband thinks that it is a “foolish thing” to buy. She considers Ouija boards “awfully thrilling” but John considers them “positively devilish.” She is quite excited and interested in the “other world.” She even says that the Ouija board can help him in writing his stories. Through his Ouija board he can talk to Napolean or Helen of Troy. He need not wear his eyes over books. The rumour about John in the Ouija party upsets Lavinia. The idea of John flirting with Helen on the Ouija board is unbearable. Lavinia doesn’t excuse her husband. The next day she threatens to go back to her grandmother. Once John feels that it was the end of his domestic bliss and peace. She suspects that John is hiding Helen in the room, and flirting with her. Only when she encounters Helen her doubts are laid to rest. The unattractive ‘owl-eyed’ ghost can’t be her rival. She can’t pose any danger to her. In the end, she fell forgivingly in John’s arms. A satisfied smile spreads over her face. |

Who was Mr. Anagnos . |
| Answer» Mr. Anagnos was the director of the Perkins Institution in Boston. He was instrumental in sending Miss Sullivan to Helen’s house to teach her. He had quite a soft corner for Helen. However, differences grew in their relation 1892 with the Frost King episode. The controversy concerning \'The Frost King\' was an agonizing experience in Helen\'s life. Helen was charged with plagiarism. It was said that Helen had copied the theme of her story from \'Frost Fairies\', by Miss Margaret T. Cabby. Even Mr. Anagnos, the director of Perkins Institute doubted Helen. Mr. Anagnos\'s behaviour towards Helen was not justified. In spite of initial sympathy with her and believing her side of the situation, he changed his stance. The night before the celebration of Washington\'s birthday, one of the teachers of Perkins Institute talked to Helen regarding "The Frost King". Helen told her that Miss Sullivan had narrated her the story about Jack Frost and her wonderful works. Something she said made the teacher think she was confessing that she had copied her plot from Miss Canby\'s story of \'The Frost Fairies\'. She conveyed her conclusions to Mr. Anagnos who thought he had been deceived by Helen. He also began suspecting that Helen and Miss Sullivan had stolen the story. | |
