A letter to god expressing what I wish for my birthday present and why? |
Answer» Dear GodI know you would be surprised seeing me address you through this letter. Usually you find me in a different set-up where I have a bell and joss sticks in my hand and you sit decorated in the beautiful temple of my house. That set-up is more formal and elaborate. This one is more real and gives me a chance to write my heart out.You must be wondering why I am writing a letter to you. As if my daily prayers and wishes weren’t enough that I have another wish ready for you. In my daily prayers, I chant, sing for you and express my hopes which I know only you can fulfil. But today I am writing this letter to express my gratitude. Apart from my existence, there are several things in my life that I am grateful for. I have never been that expressive when it came to saying thank you, so today I am taking this opportunity to do .A gift to me would not be something wrapped, but say, a special breakfast in the morning sunshine with a day of fresh air, hiking, a road trip or flying to a new destination to explore. Birthday’s don’t need to be so complicated. It’s the simple things. Now to someone else, they may want technical games, alcohol, drugs, anything the imagination can conjure as long as it’s wrapped in a shiny paper and that’s ok too! I”ll take a trip out of the mundane, To God,leaving in our heartsdatedear godI\'m one of your loving child who have faith on you, and bleave you whole heartedly . I have heard that you always take care of your child and fulfill their dreams and wishes. Need summary of \'from diary of Anne Frank |
Answer» In this lesson, Anne talks about being lonely and having no one to talk to despite being surrounded by family and around 30 people whom she called her “friends”. Thus, she takes the decision of writing her feelings in a diary. It is unusual for her to write in a diary but she is really in need of a true friend. Thus, she decides to name her diary “kitty” and unlike other people, she is not going to mention just facts in it. She starts with writing her background, to make it easier to understand for anyone who reads it later. She describes her family and early childhood when they all migrated, her early schooling. After giving a brief account of her background, she comes to the present day where she tells us about the result day. Everyone in the class is nervous about their result and boys are even making bets. Anne was quite sure about herself and her friends. She had a good equation with all the teachers except her maths’ professor, who was constantly annoyed at her for her talking habits. Thus, he started giving her punishments in the form of essays on weird topics such as “Chatterbox” to which she replied with full wit. She wrote essays that were funny and explained that this was a trait that she inherited from her mother and not much could be done about it. He kept on giving her essays until she wrote a satire. After that third and last assignment, Mr Keesing never pointed her out for talking.

Give character sketch of Anne Frank, Mr Keesing. |
Answer» Mr Keesing was an old maths teacher at Anne’s school. He was very strict by Nature. He would not tolerate anyone talking in his class. Naturally, he remained quiet annoyed with Anne who was no doubt the Chatterbox. He would punish her by giving her extra homework. Anne would stuff her assigned homework with such funny contents that not only the class but even Mr Keesing felt greatly delighted. But Mr Keesing still failed to stop Anne\'s habit of chattering in the class. With the intention of making a mockery of Anne he gave her an essay to write on the topic: ‘Quack, Quack, Quack,’ Mrs Chatterbox. Anne wrote her essay in the form of a story in verse. It told the story of a mother duck and a father swan. The father bites his three ducklings to death because they quacked too much. The father in the poem is clearly Mr Keesing and the ducklings are the children of his class. Luckily Mr Keesing took the joke the right way. He enjoyed this poem and read it to several classes. He stopped giving Anne any extra homework. He allowed her to talk in the class. He even started making jokes with the children. Thus we see how even Mr Keesing got infected by Anne\'s sense of humour.

Write a summary of dust of snow |
Answer» Dust of Snow’ is a beautiful short poem written by Robert Frost. This poem tells that even a simple moment has a large significance. The poet has mentioned crow and hemlock tree in this poem. Crow signifies his depressive and sorrowful mood and hemlock tree is a poisonous tree. Both these signify that the poet was not in a good mood and so he describes the dark, depressive and bitter side of nature to present his similar mood. The poet says that once he was in a sad, depressive mood and was sitting under a hemlock tree. A crow, sitting on the same tree, shook off the dust of snow i.e., small particles of snow that remain on the surface after the snowfall, on the poet. This simple action changed the poet’s mood. He realized that he had just wasted a part of his day repenting and being lost in sorrow. But the change in his mood made him realize that he should utilize the rest of the day in some useful activity. His sorrow was washed away by the light shower of snow dust. His spirit was revived and he got ready to utilize the rest of the day.
