Answer» Must admit I haven't dug DEEP to see what else is here on this subject - also thought of putting it in WEB design but - here PERHAPS is also suitable. Since kpac had mentioned about this I did some digging and find it an amazing system (www.highslide.com/). While most is done for you, the astounding numbers of variables and css selectors takes a bit of wading thru. I have used a ''zooming'' script system before which is not bad but nowhere near this in potential - this was a test page. I have just PUT together a Highslide trial page with a bunch of ''off-the-web'' pics - ones in fact I had used for a php gallery selection a while ago - and laid them out just in a simple table matrix. Thus far they are using pretty MUCH the basic set up - and at bottom I started playing with the html opening box ... and so am calling the highslide-full.js file. As yet I can't quite get the measure of the self rendering content aspect for this ..... with regard to incorporating into the code block. Also - anyone familiar with the ajax aspect/options. This bit of code ... Code: [Select]<a href="ajax.htm#my-div" onclick="return hs.htmlExpand(this, { objectType: 'ajax'} )" > AJAX content </a> is re displaying ajax content but so far I haven't gotten switched on to that - the ''how'' and ''why" - quite how ajax fits in. Early days but an interesting journey playing with this for sure!! Be interested for any views and feedback from anyone else playing with it - folks more experienced with it or Jscript generally.

Yes, but other screen capture programs usually offer additional features, such as giving you more flexibility in selecting exacting what you want to capture.a lot of times, I can capture better quality images with the software because you can zoom in on exactly the PART of the screen you want. So you can zoom in on a small image and that makes it much clearer.I've got Gadwin Print Screen. Very nice.

This is a nice theme that I''ve discovered. I didn't like that "blueness" that vista's default firefox theme gave. It's experimental, but so far I have had no problems with the theme (except if tab mix PLUS was enabled).

Use this theme, enable tab mix plus and look at the tabs and you'll see the problem. But I could do without TMP so it's all good for me.

ANYONE can post a script there, and it's up to you, if you want to install it, or not. Then, if the script gets Mozilla approval, it goes on official Mozilla web site. My QUESTION is, why do they approve some add-ons, which are later listed on another page, as problematic add-ons: http://kb.mozillazine.org/Problematic_extensionsI had one a while back that after a few days made my right-click stop working. ANYTHING that's not on the Firefox add-ons site is risky. Scripts probably being the most risky, not sure. I suppose that's a pitfall of OPEN Source...I guess....

I went back to this morning. Nothing. Yesterday. Nothing. Obviously, the drive went south, but I didn't want to admit it, because it was only 1 year old. It can't be. Apparently, it can. Trip to the store to get a new one. On my way, I started recalling little things, which should have told me, that something was going wrong with the drive. 1. Autoplay stopped working. I fixed it through registry hack, and forgot about it. 2. For some time, it stopped reading disks burned by itself. It read any other CD, or DVD, but not recently burned. Those were read fine in standalone players. 3. Ripping, and burning was taking more, and more time. I wrote all the above, just so it may help someone else in the future. In any case, I got new LG DVD burner with all possible options for $50.

Answer» Hi all. I don't normally do reviews on games but this one really caught my interest. For those of you who don't know, Mount and BLADE is an rpg/strategy game created by the small company known as tale worlds. My INITIAL interest with this game (and the whole reason I payed 30$ for it) was for the multiplayer SYSTEM. The multiplayer was said to support up to 64 players with a starwars: battlefront game style. It SOUNDED pretty fun until I attempted to actually get into the multiplayer part of the game. Several issues immediately arose as I was unable to access several servers because they were not updated to my current version or that the servers themselves were laggy. While the multiplayer was less than polished, the overall singleplayer mode the custom battle mode were very enjoyable to play, however, not to the point where you should pay 30$ for it. With the current graphics and gameplay issues (such as the multiplayer) this game should truly be sold for around 10-15$, EVEN then your paying for an incomplete game.

Yes...but where there's doubt, hit it a clout. After reading the Sysinternals THREAD I'd have to say it's probably just the victim of False Positive's based on doing what it's supposed to do, which happens to coincide with things that malware does as well.

I think it should be limited to the focus of the forum, just so it doesn't get completely crazy -- computer hardware, software, and peripherals (although peripherals MAY get to be a GRAY area -- I still remember the "Dilbert" comic that had to do with the disk drive for his toaster). You are certainly encouraged to set any rules / limitations you see fit. "This product suxxors" shouldn't be allowed to stand -- it might be an acceptable beginning if the poster goes on to provide valid reasons why. Pehaps -- I'm not sure -- a questionnaire format or a form -- something that REQUIRES a bit of effort without being overwhelming may discourage the "drive-by" posters and "flamers." I want to be the first to review the built-in cupholder that's on my desktop computer! i havent read all of the previous posts, so if this has already been brought up i apologize. personally, i believe this should be in the "other" category, under its own title. its seems kind of "tucked away" being a child board. what does everyone else think?If it grows enough I'd be more than happy to MOVE it onto the main page. Select the membergroup that users have when they first register and have under 5 posts, and set the permissions as needed. From this point, its self explanatory. It might be overly complicated, in my opinion. I think we should wait and see if the boards get abused by human spammers or not. I'm with Zylstra on this...i think a wait and see approach is best at this point.Fair enough. Makes it easier for me.
