Who were the revolutionaries

Answer» Giuseppe Mazzini was an Italian revolutionary. He was born in 1807. He became a member of the secret society of the Carbonari. When he was 24 years old, he was sent into exile in 1831 for attempting a revolution in Liguria. After that, he founded two more underground societies; first Young Italy in Marseilles and then Young Europe in Berne. Mazzini believed that God had intended nations to be the natural units of mankind. So Italy had to be forged into a single unified republic instead of being a patchwork of small state kingdoms. Following in the footsteps of Mazzini, many secret societies were set up Germany, France, Switzerland and Poland. The Conservatives feared Mazzini.

When salt march started and why

Answer» What happened in rowlatt act
Thanks to all for giving answer
Thanks ?????
Salt or dandi march began on March 12,1930. On 6 April 1930 Gandhiji reached dandia, a village in Gujarat and broke the salt law by boiling water and manufacturing salt. because salt was the most stirring of all was the demand to abolish the salt tax. Salt was something consumed by the rich and poor alike, and it was one of the most essential items of food. The tax on salt and the government monopoly over its production, Mahatma Gandhi declared, revealed the most oppressive face of British rule.
The salt march marked the beginning of civil disobedience movement. It started on 6th April 1930 in the coastal town of Dandi in Gujarat. It was started to defy the salt law made by the British government
\tMAHATMA\xa0Gandhi found in salt a powerful symbol that could unite the nation.\tOn 31 January, 1930 he sent a letter to Viceroy Irwin stating eleven demands.\tThe most stirring demands was to abolish the salt tax.\tSalt was one of the most essential food items consumed by the rich and poor alike and a tax on it was considered as an oppression on the people by the British government.\tMahatma Gandhiji’s letter was an ultimatum. If his demands were not fulfilled by 11 March, he had to launch a Civil Disobedience Campaign.\tSo, Mahatma Gandhi started Salt March accompanied by 78 of his trusted volunteers.\tThe March was over 240 miles, from Gandhiji’s ashram - Sabarmati to Dandi.\tThe volunteers walked for 24 days. Thousands came to hear Mahatma Gandhi wherever he stopped.\tOn 6th April, he reached Dandi and ceremonial violated the law, manufacturing salt by boiling sea water.\tThis was the beginning of the Civil Disobedience Movement.
