Answer» RIGHT answer is (a) 27

The BEST I can EXPLAIN: The TOTAL amount to be paid is 135 rupees.

The BOY has only 5 rupee coins. Let the number of coins required be x.

∴ \(\frac{135}{5}\)=x

∴ 27=x

∴ the boy requires 27 coins in order to pay his billed amount.
