Answer» for preventing food from rancidity. It stop the oxydation process Aluminium is a reactive metal . When it is kept in moist air for some time it gets covered with a thin layer of aluminium oxide which is passive and does not react. Hence the food material inside the aluminium foil does not get spoiled. |
