Answer» It can\'t burn CO2 cannot be burnt because if it is so then how can we use it in fire extinguisher... As we know mg burns in air and we all know that air is mixture of all gases including co2. So we say that co2 is partially burn in atmosphere. It is saturated and hence can\'t burn. It will not react with oxygen because it is already saturated with oxygen So technically, yes, you can burn carbon dioxide. But it doesn\'t burn easily and doesn\'t burn with most materials. No,No,Never.
