1.

Cl negative is bigger than Cl Give reason

Answer» This is because cl -ve have 8electrons instead of 7 as in cl+ve. But both have same number of protons. Hence the same number of protons exerts same force in their outermost shell but shell having 7elctrons are easily attracted by the nucleus which decreases its atomic radius. So cl - ve is bigger than cl+ve... ?
Becoz it has 1 more electron than cl
Cl negative is bigger
