Answer» Aqua regia is the mixture of hcl and hno3 in proportion 1:3 which can dissolve metals like gold , platinum ,silver etc.
It is formed by mixing HCl and HNO3 in 3: 1 proportion . It is used to increase the lusture of gold and platinum.
