Difference between stars and the sun |

A large number of planets have been found that orbit other\xa0stars, thus making these\xa0stars\xa0officially "suns." Chances are that a large percentage of the\xa0stars in the\xa0galaxy also have planets orbiting them, which would make them suns as well.\xa0Most\xa0stars\xa0are very\xa0similar to\xa0our\xa0sun. In fact the\xa0sun\xa0is a pretty normal kind of star. It\'s much brighter than the other\xa0stars\xa0because it is close by. Even the closest star (other than the\xa0sun) is very far away. |
