Answer» Acid produce H+ ion and their Ph value is less than 7 ,they are sour in taste.Base produce OH- ion and their Ph value is more than 7, they are bitter in taste. Acid liberate hydogen ions when react with water. Bases liberate hydroxide ions when react with water.
