Answer» An eyespot is a rudimentary organ which enables the organism to detect light (between daylight and darkness) whereas eye is a well-developed organ that enable us to get a clear image. Eyespots are seen in Planaria. Eye are complex structure made up of different tissues and cells whereas eye spots are merely dot-like structures which sense light. Eyes are the well developed organs that forms an image and enable us to see whereas eye spots are present just to distinguish between dy light and night timeThey are also called rudimentary organs.eg planaria has just 2 eye spots............... itna hi pta hai ?
