differnce between reflex action and reflex arc? |
|
Answer» Reflex arcs are formed in the spinal cord itself, although the information input goes on to reach the brain. A reflex arc is a neural pathway that controls an action reflex. In higher animals, most sensory neurons do not pass directly into the brain, but synapse in the spinal cord. Reflex Action :- The action in which the electrical impulses are carried from receptory organ to the brain or spinal cord with help of nerve cell. This is called reflex action. Reflex Arc :- The path or way which is used in reflex action from the organ to brain is called reflex arc.Hope it will help you...☺☺☺ The process by which sensory neuron bring signals from the effected organ to the brain and motor neuron carries signals from brain to the effected organ , that is known as reflex action. The path followed by the reflex action is known as reflex arc. |
