Distinguish between tropic and nastic movement????? |

Answer» Thanks dhiraj but this much is enough for me..... Thanks to all for giving such a useful answers Tropic movement is the directional movement while nastic movement is non directional movement. Tropic movements are directional movement whereas nastic movement is indirectional movement.in tropic movement the direction of response is determined by direction of stimulus .in nastic movement the direction of response is not determined by direction of stimulus. Do you understand ? If you understand this than it is good and if you not undrstand then tell me i will elaborate it with some examples. Movement of plant part in fixed direction is known as tropic movement but in nastic movement movement of plant is not fixed i.e. plant part move in radial direction . Tropismi.
