Draw a neat labelled diagram of structural and functional unit of expcertion in human

Answer» The functional unit of the\xa0kidney\xa0responsible for excretion is the\xa0nephron\xa0. Each\xa0kidney\xa0contains about one million\xa0nephrons. The\xa0nephron\xa0has three primary regions that function in the renal excretion process: the\xa0glomerulus\xa0, proximal tubule, and the distal tubule.\xa0The kidneys remove urea and other wastes from the blood through tiny\xa0filtering units\xa0called nephrons. Nephrons (Figure below) are tiny, tube-shaped\xa0structures\xa0found inside each kidney. Each kidney has up to a million nephrons. Each nephron collects a small amount of fluid and waste from a small group of capillaries.
