| Answer» Process of removal of toxic wastes from the body of an oranism is called excretion.Excreory system in humans consist of:(A) Two kidneys: function of kidney is to remove poisonous substances like urea,other salt wastes and excess water from blood and excrete them in form of yellowish liquid called urine.The cleaned blood is carried away from kidneys by renal vein(also called kidney vein)(B)Ureters:one from each kidney,opens into urinary bladder.They carry urine from kidney to bladder.(C)Urinary bladder: is a bag which stores urine.(D)Urethra: it is a tube through which the urine stored in bladder passes out from the body. | |
