Explain electric charge and electric current |
|
Answer» Electric Charge is nothing but the amount of\xa0energy\xa0or electrons that pass from one body to another by different modes like conduction, induction or other specific methods. An electric current is a flow of particles (electrons) flowing through wires and components. It\xa0is the rate of flow of charge. If the electric charge flows through a conductor, we say that there is an electric current in the\xa0conductor. Electric current: It is a potential difference between the ends of the wire which makes the electric charge or current to flow in the wire.Electric charge: It is a fundamental particle in an atom it may be positive or negative its SI unit is Coulomb (C). |
