Explain speciation

Answer» Speciation is an event that splits a population by evolutionary means into two independent species which cannot reproduce among themselves. Speciation occurs when a population exhibits a continuous change due to changes in the environment. These unit changes get accumulated over a period of time in a section of population which slowly alter the individual\'s structure and functions to give rise to a new species. There are two types of speciation namely allopatric speciation and sympatric speciation.\xa0\xa0
