PANCREAS secreats pancriatic juice which contains digestive enzymes like pancreatic amylase , trypsin and lipase . pancreatic amylase breaks down the starch , trypsin digests the proteins and the lipase breaks down the emulsified fats. Pancreas secrete hormones insulin and glucagon.Insulin keeps balance of sugar level in body and glucagon stimulates the breakdown of glycogen in liver into glucose .Glycogen is extra glucose which is stored in liver.Insulin converts extra glucose into glycogen.
