Answer» Liquefied petroleum gas or liquid petroleum gas, also referred to as simply propane or butane, are flammable mixtures of hydrocarbon gases used as fuel in heating appliances, cooking equipment, and vehicles. LPG is Liquid Petroleum Gas. It is a petroleum product used mainly for heating purposes.The gas is liquified through compression . That is why large quantity of it is able to store in one single cylinder. It is smokeless hence it doesn\'t produce air pollution.It is obtained through the fractional distillation of petroleum. It is a very neat and clean fuel. |
