Answer» Light enters the eye through a thin membrane called cornea. Cornea: It is a transparent spherical membrane covering the bulge in front of the eyeball. Light enters the eye through cornea where it is refracted the most. It refracts light (bends it as it enters the eyes to ensure it is in the right place). Cornea allows light from the outer object to enter into the eye. Most of the refraction of incoming light takes place through cornea Outer bulging part of eye through which light enters and it refracts most amount of light too. |
