Give reasons why copper is used to make hot water tanks and not steel? |
| Answer» Steel is an alloy of iron and carbon therefore iron reacting with hot water would result in corrosion and the walls of the tanks would become weaker and more weaker whereas Cu dont react with water and it also maintains the warmth of the water for longer period of time. | |
