Give reasons why potassium is more reactive than sodium? |

Answer» Bye everyone meeting you at 8:00 today Ha thik hai.. As the potassium can easily donate their electrons rather tan sodium . The reason behind it is that since sodium has three shell while the pottasium has 4 shells . So the dist bet the nucleus of the elemnt and corresponding valence electrns is more in potassium as compared to sodium. So thats why it can loose electrons easily Vhi to que....hai it lies above sodium all knows why it lies above ????? I think you all have gone OK. .....but find answers. ..and post here I will see later. ..bye??? Bcz K it lies above Na in reactivity series......? So simple...... Please answer. ...........waiting |
