If the formula of pentane is C5H12 then why the formula of cyclopentane is C5H10? |

Answer» Because in normal pentane first and last c atom are not connected to each other so they need 2 H atom more whereas in cyclo pentane they are connected which reduce amount of H atom. This is also my question please anyone answer |
