Answer» Gypsum\xa0is calcium sulphate dihydrate. The chemical formula of\xa0gypsum\xa0is CaSO4·2H2O. Plaster of Paris is prepared by heating\xa0gypsum\xa0to a temperature of 373K. When\xa0gypsum\xa0is heated to a temperature of 373k ,It loses three-Fourths of its water of crystallisation and forms Plaster of Paris. Which possesses water of crystallisation is gypsum .it has 2 water molecules ....chemical formuka is CaSo4 .2H2o Gypsum is CALCIUM SULPHATE DIHYDRATE....formula is CaSO4•2H2O.....use in plaster or pairs |
