That is, VC = VD

Or, V10 = VC = VD = VA × \(\frac{10}{15}\)

VR = VA × \(\frac{R}{20+R} \)

∴ VA × \(\frac{10}{15}\) = VA × \(\frac{R}{R+20} \)

∴ R = 40 Ω.
