II. 7x+ 25x + 12 =0

⇒ 7x2 + 21x + 4x + 12 = 0

⇒ 7x ( x  + 3) + 4 ( x+ 3) = 0 

⇒ (7x + 4) (x + 3) = 0

x = -4/3, -3

 -4/3 17/2 x < y
