Is regeneration is also a reproduction method? Why |

Answer» Regeneration is a type of asexual reproduction method. But it is not a true reproduction. In reproduction organisms give birth to young ones but in regeneration the cutted part of a body is regenerated. Yeah it is asexual reproduction which take place in planaria tale of lizard Regeneration\xa0is a\xa0type\xa0of asexual\xa0reproduction\xa0in which the organism is capable of regrowing certain body parts.\xa0Regeneration\xa0occurs via mitosis. Lizards can\xa0regenerate\xa0their tails, star fish can\xa0regenerate\xa0their arms while humans have the ability to\xa0regenerate\xa0their liver to a certain extent.\xa0Regeneration\xa0is\xa0considered\xa0as a\xa0method of reproduction\xa0because it is the ability of an organism to give rise new individual organism from their body parts. |
