Answer» Carbon dioxide gas is evolved. To test it we pass this gas through lime water and it turns it milky When dilute HCI reacts with sodium hydrogen carbonate Carbon dioxide gas is evolved. We pass this gas through lime water it turns milky because of the CO2 passing through it . If we keep on passing the gas through milky lime water, it would become clear again. |
