Solve : Network Load Balance Query !!?

Answer» <html><body><p>In my office we have an IIS server running on Win <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/2000-247615" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about 2000">2000</a> Server. It has a <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/single-644669" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about SINGLE">SINGLE</a> 100Mbps <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/eth-446862" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about ETH">ETH</a> link and it is configured with 2 IPs(One Virtual). My sysadmin said it is <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/used-763273" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about USED">USED</a> for network load balancing. My doubt is if having one virtual IP will do network load balancing . <br/><br/>Even if some users <a href="https://interviewquestions.tuteehub.com/tag/connect-11879" style="font-weight:bold;" target="_blank" title="Click to know more about CONNECT">CONNECT</a> to IP 1 and some set of users connect to IP 2, will there be any performance difference than comparing to having a single IP.These links might help:<br/><br/><a href="http://www.computer.howstuffworks.com/question342.htm%20">http://www.computer.howstuffworks.com/question342.htm </a><br/><br/><a href="http://www.computer.howstuffworks.com/nat4.htm%20">http://www.computer.howstuffworks.com/nat4.htm </a><br/><br/><br/></p></body></html>
