If you like Runescape you will love UO. Like WoW you do have to pay monthly to play, BUT there are free servers you will find on google that work PERFECTLY fine... Sorry to object Harold, but before i had broadband and a decent computer, starcraft is all i used to play online. i dont quite understand what you mean about "not getting alot of online playing time out of it". Dune 2000 (an old but still fun game nevertheless) will also run on a 56k connection. however, i dont know if many people are online in that game anymore...is ultima online free or a fee cuz i remember it being a fee and theres got 2 be newer games that r alrite playin 56k ,i play ut2004 which can get laggy,and i used to play gunz ,which can get laggy,what about that dues ex or counter strike conditon zero,tyBelive it or not, I play Diablo II LOD on battle.net with a 19.2 kbps connection, and there is hardly any lag19.2 conection ya right i PLAYED diablo 2 on line with a 44.0 connection and only on cow runs and abll runs i got lag I'm not kidding, 19.2!
