Solve : Adobe Shockwave for Director Netscape plug-in, version 11.5 Not Updating?

When I check if my plug ins NEED UPDATING Firefox tells me Adobe Shockwave for Director NETSCAPE plug-in, version 11.5 is out of date. Yet despite trying to up date it three TIMES and restarting Firefox each time, it STILL comes up with a report that it is out of date. Is this anything to be concerned about and if so what should I do please?
