Solve : Closing windows?

Hey guys,

Now  i dont know if you can really help me short of telling me to use FIREFOX

But here is the thing.

I turned on the computer today and i signed into Messenger.

I then click on go to my emails (all ok here)

I keep that window open and open IE now and it closes down my Inbox.

So i then reopen my inbox and it closes down my Home page ones and keeps me with my inbox.

So i tryed going "File, New window" but it just closes down the first window aswell.

So all in all i can only use 1 window at any time.

Now im wondering is there a setting that a virus may of ticked to do this? or am i way off.

1. I assume you have scanned with the tools commonly used by all regular members?

2. Did you change any settings or install new software for Internet Explorer?Yeh i have scaned it all.

Im guessing somthing sliped in from the land of P2PI'll tell you why i dont LIKE FireFox.

You see i have Used IE ever since i have tuched a computer. So i am total used to it. One of my friends has it and it just looks differnt so i think im scared to try it.

What slipped?

Have your removed it?

Try the following:

1. Start
2. Settings
3. Control Panel
4. Internet Options
5. Advanced
6. Restore Defaults button.

Certainly. You can even use both at the same time.Ok then i'll go and download FIre Fox The program will look similiar to Internet Explorer, but you should look into the extra functions it has to offer.i hear one good point is you can resume downloadingYeh im on it now.

It seems a bit slower in loading images than IE. But i like the BIG screen, ( it looks bigger) Quote

There is an extension available for that, yes.

There are huge numbers of good and useful extensions available.cool stuff.See? Only old ladies are affraid!  What other kind of things does FireFox have to offer?  The resume downloading thing sounds good for dial-up...
