Solve : Age of empires 2 on vista. all units and buildings invisible!? |
|
Answer» Weird thing is, when I first installed it, it worked fine, but when I dont play for more than 3 hours, and shut the game down, and load it back up, all the units and buildings are gone, cant move them, hear them though. First Of All Never Use Vista For GamingAs usual you have no idea what your talking about. I doubt you can name a single legitimate reason to "never use vista for gaming". Quote Try Changing Your Graphics Settings (Altough It Wont Work)This doesn't even make any sense. Second, if it won't work, why mention it? It's like saying, "oh, your PC won't power up? Oh ok, try putting a plug in your bathtub, even though it won't work. What makes it even better is it might work to change the graphics detail in the game to other values, as with resolution. Of course I know the specific settings rather then just blithly saying "change ur graphics settins" Quote Try Running Same Game On Other Operating System (XP)This might not be possible. Anyway, with regards to AOE2, I can play it just fine, with some visual artifacts from transparent layers on the ocean and grass and so forth. But I've never had units dissapear. I assume your loading from a saved game, correct?Again There Is Somebody Spoiling My Name Once Again I'll Ask You WHY SO SERIOUS ?? I Do Not Write AnyThing RUBBISH... Quote First Of All Never Use Vista For Gaming My Experience With Vista Was Very Bad For GAMINGQuote Try Changing Your Graphics Settings (Altough It Wont Work) Any User Would Suggest That First Quote (Altough It Wont Work)- Wrote It Just To Make Some FUN Of Him Quote from: BC_Programmer on February 08, 2010, 03:35:45 AM As usual you have no idea what your talking about. Cause I really dont want to revert to xp. (getting the OS on ebay if possible)Quote from: Alias on February 08, 2010, 02:32:08 PM Would Windows 7 help at all? Cause I really dont want to revert to xp. (getting the OS on ebay if possible)Yes it will. Try running the game in compatibility mode. If that doesn't work, then try virtual pc. And if that doesn't work either get help or use some freespace from your HDD, and put windows xp on it. Good luck |
