Answer» I purchased a computer from a pawn shop. It has a network connection and can do automatic updates, but when I try to OPEN a browser an AOL parental control pops up and blocks my access to the internet. I cannot remove the AOL from control PANEL. Is there any way to DISABLE the parental controls without knowing the PASSWORD?your best bet would be to start fresh with a clean OS install.A clean operating system install would be best, especially for a computer that came from a pawn shop, but did any disks COME with the computer? Do you have any disks for an operating system? |
