Solve : Automatically play sounds in Thunderbird? |
Answer» I was wondering if it's possible to have Thunderbird automatically play sounds or music that are attached to EMAILS. I know in Outlook if you click on a message that has sound attached to it, it will automatically play without having to double click the attachment and open the sound. If this can be done in Thunderbird how do I do it? However This Extension will add media player controls to TBird and allow you to play those attachments while still checking your mail...Quote from: Panda25 on January 21, 2008, 08:01:41 AM That worked pretty good. Which? or both? If Launchy, don't be surprised if you find more uses for it in the future. Quote I wish Thunderbird would play sound automatically, but this works good too. Thanks! You're welcome. I'm glad we FOUND something to get close to what you wanted. What about FoxyTunes? Did you try it? It might be closer. Sorry I didn't clarify. I tried Launchy. I will look into FoxyTunes as soon as I get a chance. Thanks again! I'm surprised at how many different kinds of extensions and addons there are available for both Firefox & Thunderbird. I am so thankful for this forum and all the people that make it what it is. Have an EXCELLENT week!!!
