Solve : Battlefield 2 voice doesn't work? |
|
Answer» My microphone works in sound recorder, MSN, skype, etc. but won't work in BF2. When I do the mic test in the game or use the BF2voicesetup.exe thing the bar just won't move. I have Realtek HD Audio. What's wrong?do you have your mic plugged into a indepedant sound card, or is it also plugged into the onboard sound?I only have onboard, and the mic is plugged into it. I also TRIED the other mic hole on the front of the computer.it must be a problem with the game. are you pressing the teamspeak hotkey to talk while playing battlefield?I haven't tried in the game yet, the bar doesn't move in the settings.i dont KNOW about BF2, but in BF2142, you need to enable VoIP in the in-game settings. It's enabled.i honestly havent a clue then to why your VOIP does not work in BF2. as a LAST resort, i would uninstall/reinstall the game to see if that fixes it.I've got BF2 here. I never had a problem with the voice. I haven't installed it in a while, and don't have time to now. If you haven't fixed it by the time I get back (about 8 hours), I'll install it and take a look.Quote If you haven't fixed it by the time I get back (about 8 hours), I'll install it and take a look.ill do the same. ive owned BF2 for many years now but i have never USED VOIP, however, i have on BF2142.I had the same problem with Realtek Audio, my VoIP wasn't working in-game. I searched for AGES on how to fix it The only way I fixed it was buying a Creative Soundcard.Yeah, I was thinking the same thing because there are so many random holes and it's cheap and integrated, I think BF2 just doesn't know what to use.Just so you know I am having a problem with the Realtek audio in my computer. The problem isn'[t with BF2, cuz I used it fine on my old puter. It seems, now to be aproblem with the realtek audio. I guess I'[m just gonna have to put in a new xfi card. |
