I was trying lately to improve the FPS rate when playing Fornite and COD: modern warfare by CHANGING some settings in the games by following some online guides such as this site https://www.bestsettings.com/guides/best-settings-for-fortnite/ and it has helped me to improve the gaming experience but there are more settings that they are suggesting to play with the windows settings. I was wondering if somebody more experienced can tell me if I change the settings as they are suggesting would that negatively influence the non-gaming PERFORMANCE?

The best resolution is (i think) the lowest but it's the worst for the graphics so i recommend to set the resolution as low as you can.
