LIKE from NAGIOS we monitor SERVERS, something like this i need to configure for desktop level also.

To what extent do you need monitoring? What key features do you need to monitor?
Very basic..
uptime, ping status, last logged in.... If the OP wants FREE tools, he would Google:
Free Network Audit tools
or
Free Network inventory software

These are network tools and can audit whatever is on he network. The run on Linux host machines and in some cases have Windows versions.
