Answer» I just installed a new cpu COOLER to replace my stock intel one that wasn't working properly. Now for some reason COD4 gets the BSOD when i try to run it, i reinstalled it to no avail. I have no idea what's CAUSING this so any help would be great.please tell us what the blue SCREEN saysDid COD4 work before you installed the new cooler? The new cooler might not be powerful enough to keep your PC from overheating. I am not saying that your computer is overheating, that might be a problem tho.he is using windows xp if you look under his nameIt's not overheating i know that. After that i DOWNLOADED the graphics driver from asus. After that i tried running COD4 and now it gets an error saying directx encountered an unrecoverable error and i tried reinstalling it to no avail.I fixed the next problem i had.
