Solve : Brave browser?

I downloaded the Brave Browser onto my computer but am unable to ACCESS the things I need to USE. The search bar and email for instance. The home screen shows hardly anything. I can not find any books, ETC. and how to use it. Any help WOULD be greatly appreciated.
